Library book clubs

Year 7s are enjoying the mystery and adventure of Pirate Academy and have begun work on their own themed activity pack. Year 8s are about to finish The Final Year, which they have found both powerful and moving. For many, this is their first exposure to a verse novel. Year 9s have chosen to read ‘The wizard of Earthsea’, and we look forward to beginning this fantastical adventure once our books arrive. These photos show year 9 enjoying the new reading corner whilst doing a horror-themed creative writing session, and year 7s and 8s excitedly opening some of our fantastic and much requested new book purchases!
