On Thursday, 27th June, ten of our outstanding Year 9 students had the exciting opportunity to serve as Sports Leaders at Cromer Road Primary School—and what a success it was!

Throughout the day, our students demonstrated exceptional leadership, teamwork, and communication skills as they supported a range of sporting activities for younger pupils. From setting up events and guiding teams to encouraging participation and celebrating effort, they were role models in every sense.

The event was not only a chance for our students to give back to the community but also a valuable opportunity to develop their confidence, responsibility, and organisational skills—key attributes that will serve them well in future leadership roles both in and out of school.

We were thrilled to receive glowing feedback from Cromer Road staff, students, and parents, who praised our students for their enthusiasm, professionalism, and kindness. One teacher commented, “They were fantastic with the children—so encouraging and positive. They really helped make the day special.”

We are incredibly proud of our Year 9 Sports Leaders for representing our school with such maturity and energy. Their contribution made a real difference, and they should be very proud of what they achieved.

Well done to all involved
