Pupils at Ark Pioneer have a longer school day allowing them to study & be successful in a wide range of subjects. More time for English and maths ensures our pupils develop literacy and numeracy skills to a very high level. EBacc subjects have extensive time at Key Stage 3 to develop pupil confidence and experience a rich curriculum. Pupils benefit from an extensive enrichment offer, built into the school day, supporting them to develop lifelong talents, skills and passions.
Key timing information for our school day:
- Gates open each morning at 8.00am and close at 8.25am.
- Our day runs from 8:25am to 4:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
- On Wednesday our school day runs from 8:25am to 3:10pm.
- This means pupils should be in school for at least 37 hours and 5 minutes per week.
